MONITOR AND TRACK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE
You check your blood pressure using the Samsung Health Monitor App without regularly using a cuff. Before first use though, calibrate with a cuff, then smart sensors measure your blood pressure through pulse wave analysis as you wear it.
Measured blood pressure history can be reviewed within the Samsung Health Monitor app on a paired smartphone.
NOTE : * To ensure accuracy users should calibrate their device at least once every 4 weeks.
* Users should measure their blood pressure when at rest, as they would do with a traditional cuff, and refrain from measuring when they are working out, smoking, or drinking.

BLOOD OXYGEN MEASUREMENT
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 uses red LED and infrared rays to estimate your SpO2(saturation of percutaneous oxygen) levels, or the amount of oxygen in your bloodstream. Because this oxygen saturation is directly linked to physical performance, it is therefore necessary to check this regularly in order to know if there is need to adjust your routine. Normal levels in humans are measured at approximately 95-100%. Factors like vigorous exercise, the amount of oxygen in the air, your elevation, and various health conditions can all result in lower readings.
NOTE : This feature is not supported in the following countries: Japan, Angola, South Africa, Thailand, Iran, Libya, France, Algeria, and Brazil.
FALL DETECTION
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 can automatically detect if you are unable to move after hard falls(as it can’t detect all falls) with its enhanced accelerometer, and then send an SOS to your emergency contact with your location.*A downside is that the Samsung Galaxy watch 3 can detect some false falls sometimes due to high impact activity especially when you are physically active.
*Sending SOS calls and messages requires network connection and smartphone pairing.
SLEEP SCORE
Galaxy Watch3 records your REM cycles, deep sleep, and total sleep time to score the quality of your rest and help you improve. Samsung also partnered with the National Sleep Foundation to include educational content and sleep tips right on your device, to help you understand and improve your sleep. Smartphone pairing is recommended to see sleep score and insight.
HOME WORKOUT
The Samsung Galaxy watch 3 is equipped with over 120 home workout programs to choose from. Pick from your phone and cast to your TV – as you work out, it’ll display your heart rate in real time. You can use the Ridge Sport Band for even more accurate stats.
RUNNING ANALYSIS
The Galaxy Watch 3 helps you keep pace as you get tips on the go from the Galaxy watch 3’s running guide. The advanced algorithm analyzes how you move to help improve your form/posture and prevent injuries. You can even measure VO2 max* values and keep up with your daily, weekly, and monthly performance right from your paired phone.
