The Infinix note 8 was launched in October 2020 5 months after it’s predecessor the note 7.
DESIGN
The note 8 has a nice Gem cut design which Infinix says improves durability and also gives the user a comfortable grip. It comes in three colours: Obsidian black, silent blue, ice diamond.
DISPLAY
The Infinix Note 8 has a large 6.95 inches dual Infinity-O display with no bezels at the top and almost no chin at the bottom, thereby guaranteeing an immersive experience when watching movies or playing games. The Note 8’s screen features an IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, 20.5:9 aspect ratio with a dual tiny camera punch hole for the dual front cameras. The note 8 has 1500:1 contrast ratio and 480nit for peak brightness.
CAMERA
The Infinix note 8 features a 64MP Quad primary camera setup and a 16MP dual front camera setup.
The 64MP HD Quad camera setup enables you to take crystal clear high definition pictures showing even the details which could have been overlooked.
The 64MP cameras are equipped with ultra night mode 2.0 for taking clear night shots.
Infinix partnered with Vidhance® to provide video enhancement algorithms to improve the stability and clarity of videos.
The note 8 comes with slow motion capture equipped and you can adjust the speed to your liking.
Use the different selections of filters when shooting short videos along with the beauty algorithms for video. It should be a good combination.
The Portrait and Super macro lens help to separate the background by blurring it out and making you the only focus and delivers authentic close range shooting effect making every detail stand out at close range.

PROCESSOR
The Infinix note 8 is equipped with the highly performing Helio G80 Processor(If you are a gamer this processor will serve you well)making the note 8 feel outstandingly smooth especially when gaming. When compared to the Helio G70 of the note 7, the G80 has a 14% upgrade in GPU image rendering frequency and a 35% benchmark score of ANTUTU compared with the Helio G70.
SECURITY
The note 8 has a side-mounted 250ms ultra fast fingerprint Scanner and face unlock.
BATTERY
The Infinix note 8 is sustained by a large 5200mAh battery which Infinix says has super long endurance which I suppose it owes to the Power marathon tech embedded in it.
The note 8 comes with a 18W fast charger and a type-c cable for charging efficiency.
It features dual engine for charging which enables the note 8 to charge with a temperature 8¹ degrees lower than it would have without the dual engine technology.
¹Come to think of it, Is it because it’s a note 8 that it has to be 8 degrees lower ?🤔😄

The note 8 features dual speakers with DTS and 4 mode that deliver immersive music experience.

CONCLUSION
